Hi, I'm Sophie! 🧶🥾

Inspired by my boyfriend's Norwegian family, I picked up knitting needles for the very first time in the summer of 2024. At first I failed pretty miserably and figured knitting just wasn't for me. But somehow I couldn't quite give up — my Pinterest was full of gorgeous knit inspiration I was determined to make myself.

Eventually it clicked: knit and purl stopped being a challenge, and ever since, I've had needles in hand pretty much every spare minute. No train ride, trip, or waiting room is complete without a project on the go.

Earlier this year I designed my first patterns of my own. It all started with the Triangle Scarf, which I originally designed for Oktoberfest — and ended up wearing all winter long. The Sophie Cardigan followed in spring, and this summer the Ibiza Top, born on my favourite Balearic island and a permanent fixture in my wardrobe ever since.

With my patterns, I want to create designs that are modern, wearable, and versatile — pieces that slot easily into the wardrobe you already have. At the same time, I believe knitting should always leave room for bold patterns, new stitches, and new techniques — because above all, knitting should be fun!

Besides knitting, I love spending time in the mountains — and of course my knitwear always comes along. 🏔️

That's why this summer we launched the very first Knit & Hike events, bringing my two passions together: creating side by side, getting outside, and sharing good moments offline as a community.
